GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Tusculum University junior Reagan Padilla carded a four-over par 76 in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf South Region Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par-72, 6,188-yard Chattahoochee Golf Club.
Padilla’s 36-hole total 153 (+9) moves her up two spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 49th place in the 96-player field.
Padilla finished her round with one birdie, five bogeys and 13 pars. Similar to Monday’s opening round, she bogeyed her first two holes to start Tuesday’s play. She followed with four consecutive pars before carding a bogey on No. 7. She closed out her opening nine with a pair of pars as she made the turn at 39.
She recorded a par on the 10th and logged a birdie 3 on the 11th hole to lower Tuesday’s round to +2. She followed with four straight pars, but her momentum was slowed as she logged a pair of bogeys on her last three holes to finish with 76.
Three players share the 36-hole lead as Millie Thompson (West Florida), Henriette Stranda (Flagler) and Kajsa Lindqvist (Lander) at two-under par (142). Lindqvist tied for the low round of the day with her three-under par 69, sharing that honor with North Georgia’s Ellie Rippee.
Wednesday’s final round will begin at 8 a.m.
