Rebels Win Big At Graysburg Hills
The South Greene boys golf team was victorious on Monday at Graysburg Hills in a four-way match with North Greene, West Greene and Chuckey-Doak.
The Rebels shot a 167 as a team. Brennan Gregg and Keannan Hankins each shot 39 to tie for medalist honors. Cameron Kinser had a 40 and Ben Gourley 49.
West Greene was second with a 197. Keaton Potter led the Buffaloes with a 46, Thomas Cogsdell had a 49, Peyton Shelton 51, and JT Harris 51.
Chuckey-Doak shot a 202 as a team. Kaleb Blankenship shot a 50, Gavin Murray 50, Ty Shelton 50 and Knox McAmis 52.
For North Greene Isaac Gaby shot a 46, Ethan Dilks had a 47, Tyler Britton 50 and Bolten Cooter 63 for the Huskies’ team score of 206..
On the girls side Chuckey-Doak’s Harley Thompson led the way with a 45. Addilyn Boesch had a 50 and Kyleigh Crawford 56.
South Greene’s Khloe Laws shot a 56.
Lady Devils Finish 3rd At Hilltopper Invitational
The Greeneville girls golf team placed third at the Hilltopper Invitational on Monday at Blackthorn Club in Johnson City. Baylor School was first and Dobyns-Bennett was second.
In the match play portion the Lady Devils beat Tennessee High 2-1. Kylee Renner was fifth as an individual with a 79. Brylee Catron shot an 83 and Kamryn Renner shot an 84 for the Lady Greene Devils.
Dobyns-Bennett’s Aliezah Robinson was the individual champion with a 68.
