Greeneville 2, Science Hill 1
The Greeneville baseball wrapped up the regular season on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Science Hill in Johnson City.
Will Harmon put the Greene Devils in front 2-0 in the second inning with a solo home run. Tegan Begley had a double and an RBI while Maddox Bishop and Jack Lister each had a single.
On the mound Grayson Crosby earned the win. In four innings he struck out four, walked three and allowed two hits. Harmon earned the save with three shutout innings. He struck out three, walked none and allowed two hits.
The Greene Devils finish the regular season with a 31-8 record.
SOFTBALL
Chuckey-Doak 6, Providence Academy 3
On Friday the Chuckey-Doak softball team picked up a 6-3 win over Providence Academy.
At the plate Jayden Myers was 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double. Hayleigh Seidl was 2-fror-2 with and RBI and a double. Elizabeth Shelton was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
In the circle Myers earned the win. In seven innings she struck out three, walked four and allowed four hits.
