South Greene 62, David Crockett 47
The South Greene girls basketball team closed strong on Thursday night to pick up a 62-47 senior-night win over David Crockett.
The Lady Rebels led by just one point going into the fourth quarter, but behind 14 points in the final frame from Kortnei Bailey the Lady Rebels pulled away to the win.
Bailey finished with a game-high 28 points for South Greene while Ari Hoese added 12 points. Autumn Winn scored 18 points for David Crockett.
The Lady Rebels will be back in action on Friday at Chuckey-Doak and with a win the Lady Rebels can wrap up the top seed in the upcoming District 1-2A Tournament.

David Crockett 51, South Greene 34
The South Greene boys basketball team struggled to score on Thursday night and fell to David Crockett 51-34.
Caleb Eaves led David Crockett with 16 points while Nolan Street put in 15 points.
For South Greene Noah Wright was the top scorer with eight points, while Lucas Couch had seven.
South Greene will be back in action on Friday at Chuckey-Doak with the No.3 seed in the District 1-2A Tournament on the line.
Chuckey-Doak 77, Washburn 63
The Chuckey-Doak boys basketball team went to Washburn on Thursday night and picked up a 77-63 win.
Ryland Grindstaff led the Black Knights’ balanced attack with 17 points. Dom Atchison added 12 points, Knox McAmis had 12, Ben Palazzo 11, Jake Broyles nine, and Gavin Crum nine.
Dillon Mullins scored 20 points for the Pirates and Matthew Harville had 19.
