The Chuckey-Doak soccer team earned a 2-2 tie on the road at Elizabethton on Thursday night.
Hailey Williamson and Caitlin Larsen each had a goal and an assist for the the Lady Black Knights.
Greeneville 9, Claiborne 0
The Greeneville soccer team earned a 9-0 win over Claiborne on Thursday, wrapping up the regular season with a perfect record in District 2-AA play.
Kinsley Spradlen, Agelyn Diaz and Matea Gray each had two goals for the Lady Greene Devils while Elaina Philbeck, Peyton Vaught and Lorelei Birdwell each had one goal.
VOLLEYBALL
Greeneville 3, South Greene 1
The Greeneville volleyball team earned a 3-1 win over South Greene on Thursday night, 25-19, 26-24, 21-25, 25-17.
Both teams wrapped up the regular season on Thursday and will begin district tournament play next week.
West Greene 3, Happy Valley 0
The West Greene volleyball team closed out the regular season on Thursday with a 3-0 win over Happy Valley 25-8, 25-4, 25-5.
South Greene 3, West Greene 1
On Tuesday South Greene defeated West Greene 3-1, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 25-8.
With the win the Lady Rebels force a tie at the top of the District 1-A standings with both teams closing the regular season with 7-1 marks.
Emma Padgett had 22 kills for the Lady Rebels. Kortnei Bailey had 12 kills and 10 digs. Ella Bailey had 22 digs, Sadie Trammell had 13 assists, Bailey Ricker had 11 assists and five digs, and Whitney Reaves had six digs, five assists and four kills.
For West Greene Cassidy Hill had 10 kills and three blocks, and Journey Lamons had eight kills. Aubree Everett had 22 digs, Aleea Aiken had 10 assists and Baylee Lowe had 10 assists.
The win was Stephen Gregg’s 500th victory as the Lady Rebels head coach.
