WRESTLING
The Greeneville wrestling team traveled to Knoxville to wrestle Gibbs, Knox Central and Scott County On Tuesday. The Greene Devils came away with three dominating wins to improve their record to 12-4 for the year.
Gideon Ellenburg and Hayden Matthews both passed 60 career wins with their victories. Hunter Shelton earned his 50th career pin with his win over his Gibbs opponent. The fastest pin of the night was Hayden Moore with a 33 second pin over his Knox Central opponent.
Greeneville will be traveling back to Knoxville on Friday for the Panther Duals at Powell High School before resting and recharging to make a push for their 29th region championship.

North Greene 56, West Greene 31
The North Greene girls basketball team went to West Greene on Tuesday and took down the Lady Buffaloes for the second time in 12 days, earning a 56-31 win.
Cadie McDevitt led the Lady Huskies offensive attack with 17 points while Tralyn Southerland added 14 points. For West Greene Payton Norton scored 12 points despite a tough defensive effort for the Lady Huskies.

West Ridge, 66, Greeneville 49
West Ridge surged past Greeneville in the fourth quarter on Tuesday and picked up a 66-49 win.
Brylee Tullock led the Lady Greene Devils with 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Allison Hayes had 12 points, and Julia Woolsey had eight points and five rebounds.

West Greene 60, North Greene 46
The West Greene boys used balanced offense and tough defense to take down North Greene 60-46 on Tuesday night.
Tytus Shelton ran the floor and poured in 20 points for the Buffaloes. Elijah Williams added 16 points and Josiah Dawson put in 11 points for West Greene.
For North Greene Jaiden Bailey led the way with 14 points, Isaac Gaby scored 11 points and Tyer Britton had 10 points.
Both teams will be back in action Wednesday at Cherokee High School in the Big H BBQ Christmas Bash. West Greene will take on Union County at 5:30 p.m. and North Greene will play Cocke County at 7 p.m.
