NORTH GREENE 31, CLOUDLAND
The North Greene baseball team went to Cloudland on Tuesday and put up a football score, beating the Highlanders 31-0.
The Huskies pounded out 19 hits while walking 11 times and getting hit by 10 pitches. Brady Malone led the way by going 4-for-6 with two doubles, six RBIs, and four runs scored. Isaac Gaby went 4-for-6 with six RBIs and four runs scored. Owen Pierce had five RBIs. Christian Cogdill went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Tyler Britton had a double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Jake Duffy had two hits and scored six runs. Aidan Halley had two hits and two RBIs.
On the mound Halley threw two innings with two strikeouts, no walks and three hits allowed. Britton threw two innings with four strikeouts no walks and one hit allowed. Malone threw one inning with no strikeouts, one walk and one hit allowed.
SOUTH GREENE 11, HAPPY VALLEY 5
The South Greene baseball team picked up an 11-5 win over Happy Valley on Tuesday.
The Rebels earned eight hits in the win. Colby Brooks went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Brendan Lisenby went 2-for-4 and Cameron Kinser went 2-for-4. Seth Franklin had three RBIs.
On the mound Tyler Davis threw 4 1/3 innings with five strikeouts, four walks and three hits allowed. Jacob Susong went 2 2/3 innings with six strikeouts four walks and two hits allowed.
HAMPTON 3, WEST GREENE 1
The West Greene baseball team fell to Hampton 3-1 on Tuesday.
At the plate West Greene’s Jhonen Bath went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Brandon Hunter and Bronson Brown both had singles.
On the mound Conner Campbell threw all seven innings with 10 strikeouts, no walks and eight hits allowed.
CHUCKEY-DOAK 14, JOHNSON COUNTY 2
The Chuckey-Doak baseball team went to Johnson County on Tuesday and came back with a 14-2 win.
The Black Knights earned 17 hits in the win. Randall Sauceman went 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Kiptyn Ball was 4-for-5 with two RBIs and three RBIs. Jake Hinkle went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs scored. Cooper Seay went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Lynkin Cutshaw had a triple with two RBIs and walked three times. As a team Chuckey-Doak stole 10 bases.
On the mound Ball threw six innings with six strikeouts, three walks and five hits allowed. Cutshaw threw one inning with two strikeouts, two walks and no hits allowed.
SOCCER
GREENEVILLE 7, VOLUNTEER 2
The Greeneville soccer team came from behind and picked up a 7-2 win over Volunteer on Tuesday.
Sam Gourley led the Devils with five goals while Simon Holt and Emerson Hensley each scored once.
