ROCK HILL, S.C. — Tusculum University’s Harrison Price has been named to WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Price, a sophomore from Winchester, England captured his first collegiate medal with a record-breaking performance at the King Invitational last month. Price fired rounds of 65 and 68 to finish with a seven-under par score of 133, tying for the second-lowest 36-hole score in program history.
His opening round 65 also matched the second-lowest round ever recorded by a Pioneer. Price’s play sparked Tusculum to its fourth consecutive King Invitational team title, where the Pioneers established a new TU record with a 36-hole team score of 546 (-14).
The Pioneers return to action Oct. 13-14 when they host the Bob Dibble Memorial at Graysburg Hills Golf Course in Chuckey, Tennessee.
