ROCK HILL, S.C. — A school-record 326 Tusculum University student-athletes have been named to the 2025-2026 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. The conference had 3,458 student-athletes from the league’s 12-member institutions and six associate members honored for their achievements in the classroom.
The SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognizes those student-athletes who carry at least a 3.30 grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year and have completed at least one season in the sports of football, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s track & field, men’s wrestling and women’s beach volleyball.
The Tusculum football team had the most SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections of the department with 38 honorees. The TU baseball team was second with 37 honorees followed by women’s soccer (34), men’s soccer (26), softball (24), women’s volleyball (21), women’s lacrosse (20), men’s basketball (19), men’s lacrosse (17), beach volleyball (17), women’s basketball (13), men’s golf (12), men’s track & field (12), women’s track & field (10), men’s tennis (8), women’s golf (8), women’s cross country (5), women’s tennis (4) and men’s cross country (4).
The women’s golf team had the highest percentage (100%) as all eight of its team members were recognized.
Tusculum’s 329 total surpasses the previous record of 301 honorees last season (2024-25).
The SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll showcases the league member institutions’ commitment to achieving high levels of success both academically and athletically, as multiple sport-related award winners also garnered the distinction.
