Greeneville’s bowling teams capped off a successful Senior Night at The Alley with a pair of strong performances against Science Hill. The Lady Devils rolled to a dominant 25–2 victory, while the boys staged a late comeback to earn a hard-fought 14–13 win.
Addison Phillips led the way for the girls with a 194, followed by Lylli Sopha’s 173 and Jazmine Kesterson’s 170 as Greeneville opened with a commanding 7–1 lead. Trinity Bowen paced the Lady Toppers with a 156.
The Lady Devils stayed hot in game two, extending their lead to 14–2 behind Sopha’s 171 and Phillips’ 160. Bowen added a 170 for Science Hill, and Emma Ramberello chipped in with a 125.
Greeneville closed out the match by sweeping the Baker games, 130–128 and 160–118, improving to 3–1 in conference play and locking up the No. 2 seed for the district tournament, where they will face Gatlinburg-Pittman.
The boys’ match featured two evenly matched teams battling from start to finish. The teams split the individual points in game one, but Science Hill held a 5–3 advantage thanks to a 1046–994 pinfall margin. Peyton Abel led the Toppers with a 258, backed by Ethan Boemski’s 173. Greeneville was led by Jon Gilbert’s 225 and Aadin Sandidge’s 171.
Game two produced the highlight of the night as Abel fired 11 straight strikes in pursuit of perfection. His final shot leaked right, leaving him with an outstanding 298. Adam Miller added a 198 and Jaden Harrell contributed a 189, helping the Toppers extend their lead to 10–6. Gilbert stayed sharp with a 213 for the Devils, and Noah Bernard delivered a strong 176.
Facing a four-point deficit, Greeneville rallied by taking the first Baker game 171–161, trimming the score to 10–9 and setting up a dramatic finish.
Both teams came out firing in the final game, but the Devils prevailed 180–166, securing the crucial five points needed to clinch the comeback win—despite Science Hill holding a 135-pin advantage overall.
Greeneville closes the season with a 4–5 conference record and will await its district tournament opponent as the remaining regular-season matches wrap up.
