The South Greene Middle boys basketball team captured the Area 3 championship last week.
In the championship game the Rebels took down Newport Grammar 40-38. The No.4 seeded Rebels started the tournament with an overtime win over White Pine.
Kade Jeffries led the offense with 14 points in the title game, Camden Marshall had eight points and Cole Berry scored seven, Kason Justice six and Keaton Dyer five.
Dyer, Justice, Jeffries and Marshall were named to the All-Tournament team.
South Greene moves on the the Region Tournament which will be held at John Sevier.
