ROCK HILL, S.C. — Tusculum University sophomore attacker Elisha Stack has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 15, the SAC office announced Monday.
Stack broke the program single-game record for assists with nine and tied the school record with 12 points in the Pioneers’ 22-4 win over Thomas More on Saturday. Her nine assists and 12 points are the most by a player in a game in Division II this season.
The Lockport, Illinois native also became the ninth player in program history to reach 100 career points, with 54 goals and 55 assists for 109 points in 24 games. She is second in the SAC with 37 points and 19 assists, and ranks eighth in the conference with 18 goals.
It is the second time in Stack’s career that she has been named SAC Offensive Player of the Week, having earned the honors in March of last season.
The Pioneers (3-4, 0-2 SAC) host Mars Hill (3-4, 0-3 SAC) on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Pioneer Field.
