We at Greene Sports Zone are excited to introduce you to our 2025 All-Greene County Baseball Team. After an amazing year on the diamond where teams reached new heights, players earned new spots in the record books, and a big golden trophy came back to Greene County there were plenty of athletes worthy of consideration.
Players were selected based on production and impact during the 2025 season. The team was selected by the staff of Greene Sports Zone with input from area coaches. We at Greene Sports Zone covered more Greene County baseball than anyone else this season, we did more interviews with coaches than anyone else and we feel we have a greater understanding of the game than any competing outlet. Because of that we feel we are most qualified to give you the best All-Greene County Baseball Team, so without further ado here is the All-County team.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Carson Quillen, Greeneville
It will be hard for any local baseball fan to forget what Greeneville senior Carson Quillen did during the 2025 season, and without being hyperbolic it was likely the greatest season of baseball Greene County has seen in the last century.
For his tremendous production, leadership, and big plays in big moments Quillen has been selected as the Greene Sports Zone Player of the Year. At the plate Quillen was nothing short of spectacular this season. He turned an astounding .512 batting average, with a .657 on-base percentage. He pounded a county-high 21 doubles to go with two triples and three home runs. From the leadoff spot he drove in 36 runs and scored 69 runs. He also managed to steal 49 bases.
On the mound Quillen went 10-1 with a 2.0 ERA. In 62.1 innings he struck out 66 and walked 17 while allowing 60 hits.
Some of his best work came in the state tournament where he won two games on the mound, including a shutout in the state championship game. Then in the title game he went 4-for-4 with a double and five RBIs, including a two-run double that ended the game by run rule.
After such a tremendous season Quillen became Greene County’s first Mr. Baseball award winner.
Jake Hinkle, Chuckey-Doak
Speedy senior Jake Hinkle was the guy that led Chuckey-Doak’s offense from the top of the order. Hinkle turned in a team best .453 batting average with a .539 on-base percentage. He was first on the team with 43 hits and 37 runs scored while also stealing 36 bases.
Hinkle thew 41.1 innings with 32 strikeouts, 15 walks, and a 4.91 ERA.
Kiptyn Ball, Chuckey-Doak
Chuckey-Doak’s Kiptyn Ball showed no problem getting accustomed to the high-school game and the freshman quickly became one of the best players in Greene County. At the plate he hit an impressive .383 with a .454 on-base percentage. He was second on the team with 36 hits. He scored 25 runs and drove in 12 runs.
On the mound Ball threw 34 innings with 32 strikeouts, 12 walks, 45 hits allowed and a 4.11 ERA.
Lynkin Cutshaw, Chuckey-Doak
As Chuckey-Doak won the District 1-2A regular season and tournament titles Lynkin Cutshaw led the way on the mound with a 7-1 record. He turned in a 2.88 ERA in 51 innings of work. He struck out 74, walked 40 and allowed just 31 hits. For his effort he was named the District 1-2A Pitcher of the Year.
At the plate he hit .290 with a .490 on-base percentage. He had 15 RBIs, 22 runs and walked 27 times.
Will Harmon, Greeneville
Greeneville junior Will Harmon developed into one of the best arms and most dangerous bats in the region this season. On the mound the lefty had a county best 1.40 ERA in 66.1 innings of work. He struck out 85, walked 21 and allowed 42 hits. That included four shutouts and a no hitter.
At the plate he hit .346 with a .418 on-base percentage. He had 47 hits with nine doubles, five triples and five home runs. Harmon drove in a county best 56 runs and scored 29 runs.
Kobe Mundy, Greeneville
Greeneville senior Kobe Mundy had a huge year at the plate and saved some of his biggest moments for the state tournament. The Tusculum signee hit .408 with a .468 on-base percentage. He had eight doubles and two home runs while finishing second on the team with 49 hits. Mundy drove in 37 runs and scored 29 runs.
Noah Murray, Greeneville
Noah Murray has long been a crucial piece to Greeneville’s defense at catcher, and that continued in his senior season. Where Murray took a big step this season was at the plate where he hit .347 with a .446 on-base percentage. He had 43 hits with eight doubles, two triples and a home run. The Walters State signee also drove in 29 runs.
Carson Norris, Greeneville
Carson Norris did a little bit of everything for Greeneville in his senior campaign. At the plate Norris hit .341 with a .488 on-base percentage. He had 43 hits with five doubles and a triple. Norris knocked in 32 runs and crossed the plate 41 times. He also led the team with 35 walks and added 21 stolen bases.
Some of his biggest moments came on the mound. He earned a complete-game victory against Seymour in the state sectionals to send the Devils to the state tournament. Then in the state tournament he went the distance against South Gibson to get the Devils to the title game. He finished the year with an 8-1 record and a 2.05 ERA.
Maddox Bishop, Greeneville
Junior Maddox Bishop in his third year as a starter turned in another strong season on the diamond as he helped the Greene Devils win the Class 3A State Championship. At the plate the center fielder hit .308 with a .417 on base percentage. He had 41 hits with nine doubles, a triple and a home run. Bishop had 39 RBIs and scored 43 runs.
Jake Duffy, North Greene
North Greene senior Jake Duffy provided the leadership the Huskies needed to return the state sectionals this season. The center fielder hit .359 with a .480 on-base percentage. He had 37 hits with five doubles and two triples. As North Greene’s leadoff hitter Duffy scored 37 runs and stole 29 bases.
Isaac Gaby, North Greene
Shortstop Isaac Gaby led North Greene’s offense with a .364 batting average this season. He had a .491 on-base percentage while earning 32 hits. Gaby had six doubles and three triples in his junior season while driving in 23 runs and scoring 28 runs. He also stole 30 bases.
South Greene, Seth Franklin
South Greene’s Seth Franklin turned in an impressive senior season for the Rebels this spring. At the plate Franklin hit .329 with a .407 on base percentage. He led the Rebels with 26 hits and 25 RBIs. He had six doubles and two home runs.
Braden McCamey, West Greene
Senior Braden McCamey led West Greene at the plate and on the mound this season as the Buffaloes advanced to the Region 1-2A Tournament. He hit .375 with a .557 on-base percentage. He led West Greene with 30 hits, nine doubles and two home runs. McCamey had 28 RBIs and scored 20 runs.
On the mound he threw 55.2 innings with a 2.51 ERA. He struck out 74, walked 33 and allowed 39 hits.
Jhonen Bath, West Greene
West Greene’s Jhonen Bath was not only one of the top defensive catchers in the region this season, he was one of the most important pieces of the Buffaloes’ offense. The junior hit .326 with a .451 on-base percentage. He had 28 hits with six doubles, 25 RBIs, 25 runs scored and 17 stolen bases.
At catcher he had a 99.2 fielding percentage, making just two errors in 255 chances. He caught 18 steal attempts and picked off four runners.
Conner Campbell, West Greene
From the leadoff spot West Greene’s Conner Campbell hit .298 with a .476 on-base percentage in his senior campaign. He had 28 hits with six doubles, 18 RBIs and 31 runs scored. Campbell led the Buffaloes with 23 stolen bases.
On the mound Campbell threw a team high 60.2 innings with a 3.11 ERA. He struck out 61, walked just 16 and allowed 60 hits.
