All four county high schools took advantage of a beautiful afternoon and teed off the 2024 high school golf season at Twin Creeks.
South Greene’s Kolben Gregg was medalist of the day with a 37, while his teammates Benji Conner and Colby Brooks finished with scores of 39 and 42. West Greene was paced by Aiden Willet’s 43 followed by a 44 from Peyton Shelton and Conner Campbell. Ethan Dilks shot a 47 for North Greene, while Avery Armstrong tallied a 50 for Chuckey Doak.
The Rebels claimed the county-wide victory with a 167, while the Buffaloes came in with a 176, the Huskies a 208, and Black Knights a 214.
Chuckey Doak was the only school represented on the girls’ side. Layla Fox was the medalist with a 40.
