Greeneville 17 – Elizabethton 9
Virginia Tech’s Mycah Jordan had a standout performance Monday night, going 3-for-6 with his third home run of the season and four RBIs to lead the Greeneville Flyboys to a 17-9 win over the Elizabethton River Riders in the series opener.
Greeneville’s offense erupted for 17 hits, with Ezra McNaughton, Dylan Jackson, and Jace Patton each collecting a double and a single.
Collin Adams picked up his second win of the season, allowing just three runs on two hits over five innings. He struck out four and walked four.
The series continues in Elizabethton on Wednesday evening, with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.
