Danville Otterbots 9 – Greeneville Flyboys 3
Danville erupted for nine runs on 12 hits and defeated Greeneville 9-3 in game two of the series.
Matthew Kerrigan led the Flyboys offensively, going 2-for-4 with a home run, while Matt Cash added two singles.
J.T. Long was charged with the loss on the mound, allowing three runs on six hits over three innings. He struck out one and walked one.
Greeneville, now 6-7 on the season, will host Danville in the series finale Sunday at 2 p.m. The first 250 fans through the gates will receive a free T-shirt, and kids will have the opportunity to play catch on the field with their dads before the game.
