Greeneville 15 – Danville 8 (Game 1)
The Flyboys outscored the Otterbots 11-0 over the last four innings of the game to take game 1 of the double header 15-8. Mycah Jordan went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and scored four times while stealing two bases to lead the offensive attack. Ezra McNaughton picked up four RBI’s on a homer and double in a supporting role. Jace Smith collected the win on the mound throwing 1 2/3 innings of relief.
Greeneville 12 – Danville 8 (Game 2)
The Flyboys pounded out 10 hits and took advantage of 5 Otterbot miscues to sweep the series 12-8 and open the season at 3-0. Jace Patton drove in a pair of runs with a triple and two singles, while Ezra McNaughton drilled his drove in two runs as well on two hits, including an opposite field homerun that sparked a 7-run second inning. Christian Bonilla picked up the win throwing 1 2/3 innings of relief.
