For the second consecutive day, South Greene has a state qualifier. Today, Dion Blair claimed the overall title finishing 1st in the A East Sectional Decathlon at Eagleton High School. He would win the High Jump and Long Jump, while setting a new school record in the Triple Jump.
Chuckey Doak’s Isaiah Treadway and South Greene’s Duncan finished 3rd and 7th and hope to get an at-large bid. Duncan won the 1500-meters, with a new school record. Charlie Lane finished the two day competition in 11th.
Greeneville’s Darien Humphreys finished day 2 of the AA East Sectional Decathlon in 6th place at Hardin Valley. He is currently awaiting to see if he receives one of the at large bids to advance to the state meet.
Micah Mitanni finished in 15th place, while Eli Dabney came home in 23rd.
