A developer has inquired about the possible purchase of the Locust Street ball field property from the Town of Greeneville for a potential residential project in that area.
At the suggestion of Todd Smith at the Thursday meeting of the Greeneville Parks and Recreation Board, it was agreed out of respect to those who live there, that the town reach out for a meeting with those residents in the community to gauge their interest in development plans vs losing the now seldom used field.
