SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Aug. 19, 2025) – After an opening weekend where she produced 22% of her career scoring output, Reagan Fitzgerald got her just reward.
The junior from Oviedo, Florida, was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office after scoring both of ETSU’s goals in the first two games of the 2025 season.
Fitzgerald scored on a back post header in the 20th minute against North Alabama last Thursday, which proved the difference in a 1-0 win in Florence, ETSU’s first win in a season opener since 2019. She followed that up with a spectacular goal from distance in the 87th minute to put ETSU back on level terms with UAB and save a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Summers-Taylor Stadium. Fitzgerald now has nine career goals, moving her into the active career lead at ETSU.
The Bucs start a two-game road swing at Kentucky on Thursday night at 7:30pm. For more information on ETSU women’s soccer, go to ETSUBucs.com.
