ROCK HILL, S.C. — Tusculum University’s Stefaan Forbes and Adrian Gumm have earned seasonal recognition with the announcement of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Football Awards.

Forbes was named the All-SAC punter, while Gumm garnered All-Mountain Division laurels on the offensive line.

The All-Conference football team is selected by a vote of the league’s 12 head coaches.

Forbes, a senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma established a new Tusculum single-season record with his 45.5 punting average, which is tops in both the SAC and NCAA Super Region 2 and ranked third in the country (NCAA II).

Forbes pinned the opposition inside the 20 yard-line on 14 occasions and recorded 13 punts over 50 yards including a career-best 70-yarder at Catawba in his season-finale. His 59.0 average against Newberry this year was a new TU single-game mark. For his efforts, he was named the SAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Gumm, a 6-5, 300-pound junior from Maryville, Tennessee, started all 10 games at guard this year where he played in a team-best 614 snaps and led the squad with 33.5 pancake blocks.
