BRISTOL, Tenn. — Tusculum University’s Katherine Woodhouse finished tied for ninth place at the 2026 King University Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament was held at the par-71, 5,882-yard Golf Club of Bristol.
Woodhouse finished two-day total of 155 including Tuesday’s final round 78.
TU teammate Delfin Filiz tied for 17th place with her two-day score of 78-82=160, while Kadence Ball carded 181 (T48) including a final day 87 which included a strong finish with three straight pars to end her round.
Belmont Abbey led wire-to-wire to claim the team title with a two-day aggregate score of 612, winning by a dozen strokes over runner-up Trevecca Nazarene (624). Belmont Abbey’s Ella Wiklander won the individual medal with 73-70=143.
Tusculum returns to action next week (Oct. 5-6) as they travel to Landrum, South Carolina for the Glass Collegiate Invitational.
