Local Greene County business owner Ivis Earley, owner of 107 Tire and Service Center located at 6256 Erwin Highway in Chuckey, is taking a major step toward fulfilling his lifelong dream of racing professionally.

Earley recently signed with WAV Racing, owned by Dee Vaughn of Burnsville, Mississippi, marking a significant milestone in his racing career. On January 9, Earley traveled to Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, to meet with his team for ARCA Menards Series testing, where he reached speeds of up to 180 miles per hour on the legendary track.

Earley will compete in a number 34, Toyota Camry at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on May 2, followed by a race at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 17.

Earley credits his passion for racing to his Dad and grandfather, who instilled in him a deep love for the sport at a young age. What began as a childhood dream has now grown into an opportunity to represent Greene County on some of the most iconic tracks in motorsports.

“I wouldn’t be here without the inspiration and support I received growing up,” Earley said. “This journey means a lot to me, my family, and our community.”
