Greeneville’s bowling team opened conference play in dominant fashion Wednesday evening, earning a 24-3 victory.
The Greene Devils jumped out to a commanding 7-1 lead after the first game, led by Aiden Sandige’s 193. Jon Gilbert followed with a 187, while Evan Litchfield added a 177 to help the Devils post a strong 936 pinfall.
In game two, Greeneville extended its advantage to 13-3 behind an 876 pinfall. Gilbert paced the team with a 196, and Sandige added a solid 182.
The Devils sealed the match by taking both Baker games, 144–123 and 150–117, securing their first conference win of the season.
Greeneville (2-0 overall, 1-0 conference) will return to action Monday when they host Dobyns-Bennett at The Alley, with play beginning at 4:15 p.m.
