The Greeneville tennis teams went to Jefferson County on Wednesday and took a pair of losses. Both the Devils and Lady Devils fell 6-3.
In boys singles Greeneville’s Jack Lampe beat Theron Frye 9-8 (8-6), and Dominic Tweed beat Graham Horton 8-5.
For Jefferson County Emerson Ellison beat Derrick Day 8-1. Marcus Berry beat Jackson Peters 8-3. C.J. Worley beat Luke Davis 8-0, and Dylan Boruff won 8-3 over Kellan Simerly.
In doubles Greeneville’s Peters and Day beat Berry and Worley 8-5. Jefferson County’s Frye and Horton beat Lampe and Tweed 8-2. Ellison and Volellur beat Davis and Simerly 8-2.
In girls singles Greeneville’s Genna Renner topped Mathilda Schrett 8-5. Grace Lampe beat Marley Pappas 8-5.
Jefferson County’s Pressley Berger beat Emma Sauceman 9-8 (7-0). Ivy Price beat Brylee Catron 8-6. Haley Humphrey won 8-1 over Mylee Gonzalez, and Eliana Berger won 8-0 over Emma Light.
In doubles Greeneville’s Lampe and Renner beat Schrett and Pappas 8-1. Jefferson County’s Berger and Price won 8-3 over Sauceman and Catron. Humphrey and Berger beat Gonzalez and Riley Rhea 8-2.
