Baseball teams from across the state are set for regional tournament play to begin on Friday and conclude on Saturday, with the hopes of advancing to sectional play next week. Local teams still alive are Greeneville (3A), South Greene (2A), West Greene (2A), and North Greene (1A).
The locations for these respective tournaments are Pioneer Park (3A) on the campus of Tusculum University, Pigeon Forge High School (2A) and Washburn (1A)
Greeneville will open play on Friday at 7:30 against David Crockett.
West Greene plays Alcoa at 2:00, while South Greene faces Pigeon Forge at 6:00.
North Greene takes on Washburn at 7:30.
Championship games are set for noon on Saturday.
