The 2024-25 Bass Pro Shops High School Tournament Series has come to an end and several anglers from South Greene and West Greene find their names among the leaderboard.
South Greene’s Noah Wright and Shane Williams found themselves among the top 10 after the four qualifying tournaments. A 10.19 pound weigh-in at Norris Lake in April helped solidify their their 9th place finish.
Other Rebels mentioned within the leaderboard were Kasen Carr and Grayson Ellenburg who finished in 22nd position and Christian Darnell and Jaxen Taylor in 23rd. Both teams competed in three of the four tournaments.
The final Greene County representatives that were among the top 30 finishers were West Greene’s Zane Finkle and Hunter Franklin. They were able to compete in two of the tournaments and finish in 26th.
