The South Greene boys golf team came away victorious on Thursday in a four-way match with West Greene, University High and Tri-Cities Christian at Pine Oaks Golf Course.
The Rebels shot a 170 as a team on Thursday to win by 12 strokes. Keanan Hankins led the way with a 37 and earned medalist honors. Brennan Gregg shot a 43, Cameron Kinser also had a 43 and Ben Gosnell shot a 47.
TCC was second with a 182 as a team. Ben Hall shot a 39, Chase McCreasy 41, Oak Murray 44, and Stephen Henegar 58.
West Greene was led by Peyton Shelton who carded a 44. Thomas Cogsdell had a 47, JT Harris 52 and Keaton Potter 53 for the Buffaloes’ team score of 196.
University High shot a 204 as a team. Owen Henley shot a 48, Bradeley Ruff had a 52, Brody Hall 52 and Dhruv Ramu 52..
In the girls match TCC earned the win with a 95. Isabelle Miller shot a 44 to earn medalist honors. Catelin Dingus had a 51.
University High had a 99 led by Julia Maylock’s 48. Kalani Nabaha had a 51.
South Greene shot a 112 as a team. Khloe Laws had a 55 and Kailey Howell a 57.
