Greeneville 7 – Bristol 3
Greeneville traveled to TVA Credit Union Ballpark on Thursday evening to open a series against the Bristol State Liners. Both teams struggled to generate offense early, battling to a scoreless tie through the first four innings. The Flyboys finally broke through in the top of the fifth, plating three runs and building momentum en route to a 7–3 victory.
Cameron Kim led the offense with two singles and three RBIs. Dylan Jackson added a pair of RBI singles, while Brady Francisco contributed both a double and a single.
On the mound, Jacob Kennedy delivered an impressive five-inning start, allowing just one run on four hits with one strikeout and three walks to earn the win. A.J. Diaz and Jack Novak provided steady relief, and Brandon Mork closed things out in the ninth with two strikeouts to earn the save.
With the win, the Flyboys remain three games behind the division-leading Axmen but gain ground on the third-place Doughboys. Greeneville will wrap up the series against Bristol on Friday night at TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Johnson City. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
