Greeneville tennis swept Northview Academy in both girls and boys action at home Thursday night. Both won their matches 9-0.
Emma Waddell, Emma Sauceman, Maggie Morelock, Kiley Scott, Abi Kate Moore, and Jorja Ward all won their singles match. Doubles teams of Waddell/Sauceman, Morelock/Scott, and Moore and Brylee Catron also swept all three of their matches.
For the boys, Jackson Weems, Jack Lampe, Nick Thomas, Ace Patel, Dominic Tweed, and Isaac McGill were all winners. In boys doubles, Weems/Tweed, Thomas/Patel, and Lampe/McGill won their matches by a combined 24-2 margin.
Cora Broyles and Manning Click were voted by their teammates to get the Game Balls. The girls are undefeated overall at 4-0. The GHS boys are 3-1 overall.
The Devils have a three game home stretch against Cocke County on Monday, West Ridge on Tuesday, and Jefferson County next Thursday. All games are played at the Greene County Tennis Center on Hal Henard Road and begin at 4:00 PM.
