Greeneville’s Lady Devils sent 13 batters to the plate in the second inning alone and scored 8 runs to help get past West Greene on Thursday afternoon 12-1 and collect their seventh win on the year. Madison Carpenter, Kaley Garland, and Trudi Aiken led the 14-hit attack with 2 singles each, while Kyla Jobe came in with a double.
Sophomore, Jamie Jackson, kept the Lady Buffaloe hitters in check, going the distance while allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 8.
West Greene collected a triple from Alexis Cutshaw and a double from Amanda Owens.
Greeneville will be back in action Friday afternoon when they host Chuckey Doak at Hardin Park. The first pitch is set for 5:30. West Greene (0-1 on the season) will host Unaka on Monday.
