The North Greene girls basketball team tipped off the 2025-26 season with a 71-17 win over Cedar View Christian.
Four Lady Huskies scored in double figures. Tralyn Southerland led the way with 13 points, Eva Leonard had 12, Ella Head 10 and Josie Graham 10.

North Greene 80, Cedar View Christian 45
The North Greene boys basketball team started the season with an 80-45 win over Cedar View Christian.
Tyler Britton led the scoring effort with 24 points while Thomas Darnell added 12 points for North Greene. In total six different players hit a three pointer for the Huskies.
The win was the first for Matt Weems as the head coach of the Huskies.
