Burlington 15 – Greeneville 15 (Burlington wins the tie-breaker)
Greeneville opened an explosive series against Burlington at Pioneer Park with a wild game that featured 30 total runs, 28 hits, and a fireworks show that lit up the night sky. The Flyboys rallied from a 15–7 deficit to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth but ultimately left the bases loaded in extra innings.
TJ Adams led the offense with two doubles, a single, and an RBI. Danny Wallace added a triple and a single, driving in two runs, while Cameron Kim contributed a double and a single.
With the loss, the Flyboys fall 2.5 games behind Kingsport in the Western Division. They’ll wrap up the weekend series against the Sock Puppets Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
