Danville 11 – Greeneville 10
Greeneville jumped out to a 6-1 lead by the fifth inning, but Danville stormed back with ten runs over the final five frames—including two in the bottom of the ninth—to walk off with an 11-10 victory.
Ezra McNaughton powered the Flyboys’ offense, going 3-for-4 with a grand slam and six RBIs. Peyton Miller added a triple, and Cameron Kim chipped in a double as Greeneville collected ten hits on the night.
The Flyboys now head to Burlington for a two-game set with the Sock Puppets. Both teams will be looking to reclaim the top spot in their respective divisions after slipping to second place behind Kingsport and Bluefield.
